(Patria) - The Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) has fined Barcelona and Manchester United for violating Financial Fair Play, reports Reuters.
Barcelona has been fined 500,000 euros, as the Catalan club included profit from the sale of intangible assets in its revenue.
According to UEFA regulations, only player transfers can be shown as revenue.
The English club has been fined 300,000 euros for minor violations of financial rules.
Cypriot Apoel, Turkish teams Konyaspor, Trabzonspor and Istanbul Basaksehir, Belgian teams Anderlecht and Antwerp, as well as Ljubljana's Olimpija, Slovan from Bratislava and Riga have also been punished for violating regulations.
