(Patria) - Officials of the European Football Association (UEFA) will have a videoconference with the general secretaries of its 55 national associations, where decisions on the continuation of the season, interrupted due to the coronavirus pandemic, should be made.
UEFA will inform national associations about the activities of two working groups, formed two weeks ago after the rapid spread of the coronavirus in some European countries.
"The meeting will consider the developments in all UEFA national and club competitions. Player contracts and transfers, whose realization has been affected by the crisis and the suspension of competitions, will also be discussed," UEFA announced.
According to the latest unofficial information, the idea of UEFA officials is for the season in national European leagues to resume in May, and all matches until the end of the season, including in the UEFA Champions League and Europa League, should be played without spectators.
