UEFA: Baždarević's Dragons earned a place in the play-offs

UEFA's official website has written about Bosnia and Herzegovina's victory over Cyprus and their advancement to the play-offs for Euro 2016 in France, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

As stated, the players of Mehmed Baždarević "earned the play-off and thus revived hopes for going to their first Euro".

The author of this text particularly focused on the goals of Haris Medunjanin, who shone in the match against Cyprus, scoring the decisive goals in the 13th minute for a 1:0 lead and in the 44th minute for a 2:2 equaliser. With the decisive goal by Milan Đurić in the 67th minute, Bosnia and Herzegovina took a 3:2 lead and held that result until the end of the match.

- Medunjanin had not scored for the national team for more than two years, but the wait paid off and he stylishly scored the first and fourth goals of this match.

Mehmed Baždarević's Dragons secured third place in Group B. The name of the opponent in the play-offs will be known on Sunday, 18 October. Bosnia and Herzegovina could play against Slovenia, Norway, Ireland or Denmark.
