SARAJEVO, (Patria) - We are not surprised that the Vice President of the Croatian Parliament, Milijan Brkić, visits convicted war criminals; that is our everyday reality, said the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide.
"We are accustomed to them being visited and financed from budgets for which all citizens, both in Bosnia and Herzegovina and in neighboring countries, pay taxes. Convicted war criminals are, as a rule, national heroes, heroes for whom monuments are erected, sports events and student dormitories are named. The visit of the Vice President of the Croatian Parliament to the criminal Stojić is merely a continuation of a schizophrenic policy that clearly has deep roots in this region," the Association's response states.
The Vice President of the Croatian Parliament, Milijan Brkić, visited Bruno Stojić, a convicted war criminal, in an Austrian prison.
