Pomozi.ba Association launches appeal for the treatment of four-year-old Adin who has epilepsy

(Patria) - The Pomozi.ba Association has launched an appeal for the treatment of 4-year-old Adin Bašić, who suffers from epilepsy. A humanitarian number 17044 has been activated for him, with each call donating 2 KM, and the number is unique for all telecom operators in BiH.

This little boy from Travnik has numerous diagnoses: epilepsy, delayed speech development, dystonia, and disharmonious development.

Daily epileptic seizures, manifested by tremors of the whole body and limbs with a fixed gaze at one point, have left an indelible mark on both Adin and his mother. He had seizures multiple times a day.

His condition continuously worsened, and he underwent surgery in Istanbul last week. A VNS stimulator was implanted to regulate the epileptic seizures, as the disease was no longer responding to medication.

The treatment for this little boy requires 24,000 euros, and as his mother is in a very difficult socio-economic situation, the Pomozi.ba Association has guaranteed the clinic that it will cover these costs.
