Victims' Associations Support Pro-Bosnian Forces: We Are Not All the Same!

(Patria) - Victims' associations issued a statement reminding that they continuously inform the highest representatives of the UN, EU and PIC member states about all challenges and problems faced by victims, especially problems in prosecuting war criminals, denial of committed genocide and attacks on returnees in the smaller BiH entity.

"In this regard, we continuously call for the activation of the 2007 UN Action Plan for the Prevention of Genocide, because we believe that the aforementioned representatives of the international community should react in BiH and prevent the policy implemented by Milorad Dodik, in agreement with Serbia and with the support of the Russian Federation.

The UN Action Plan also includes the use of international forces to stop policies that threaten to commit crimes again and attempt to endanger BiH.

In our aforementioned activities, the biggest obstacle is precisely those who support the policy of Milorad Dodik in BiH and outside BiH, but also those who continue the policy of equating the so-called sides in the conflict.

We do not accept that those who fight for BiH and help us victims, starting with the member of the BiH Presidency Denis Bećirović, pro-Bosnian political entities and individuals, including the institution of the Reis-ul-ulema, are equated in any context or form with Dodik and policies that break up BiH.

We also condemn all those who, in equating the so-called sides in the conflict, find the guilty precisely in those who fight for BiH and thus try to justify the divisive policy of Milorad Dodik.

We call on them to stop and to call the current policies coming from Serbia and Russia, via the smaller BiH entity, by their real name and to stop supporting the policy of equal guilt.

We are not all equally guilty; those who need clarification should read the verdicts of the courts in The Hague, which established aggression and UZP," they stated in a joint statement by the Association "Movement of Mothers of the Srebrenica and Žepa Enclaves" and the Association of Victims and Witnesses of Genocide.
