Killers at large, David Dragičević would be 24 today

David Dragičević, the young man who was murdered in Banja Luka in March 2018, would be celebrating his 23rd birthday today.

Instead of birthday candles on a cake, his parents will light candles at his grave.

"My love, my Đakac. You would have turned 24 today, your dad loves you," wrote Davor Dragičević, the murdered young man's father.

Let us remind you, David Dragičević disappeared on March 18, 2018, in Banja Luka, and his body was found six days later at the mouth of the Crkva river into the Vrbas. This case, which has not been fully clarified, is accompanied by many controversies, starting with the police press conference on March 26, 2018.

Davor Dragičević claims that his son was kidnapped and tortured for six days, after which he was liquidated, and recently stated that he would not allow the remains of his murdered child to remain in a "criminal state".

At the end of last year, Davor Dragičević left Banja Luka, and public gatherings are no longer held in the main city square, as they were banned by the police because they did not have the necessary permits and, as they stated, public order and peace were being disturbed.

A small group of citizens has been lighting candles every evening in the courtyard of the Orthodox church in the center of Banja Luka since then, and David's mother, Suzana Radanović, has announced that they will continue to seek justice in Europe.
