3,547 graduates of bachelor's and master's studies at UNSA promoted in Zetra

(Patria) - A ceremonial promotion and diploma ceremony for 3,547 graduates of bachelor's and master's studies at the University of Sarajevo was held in Zetra Hall. A new generation of highly educated young people, with a solemn proclamation, officially completed their period of study and opened a new chapter in their lives, ready to use their acquired knowledge to be strong competitors in the labor market, where they will further develop their careers.

„A new generation of academic citizens enters a world full of global challenges that
require knowledge, courage, integrity, and active engagement. The University of
Sarajevo, as an institution that survived the siege and war, passes on to its students the spirit of resistance, critical thinking, and social responsibility.<

Graduates, I invite you not to accept injustice, to oppose corruption, and to use your knowledge and
work to be bearers of positive changes“, said Prof. Dr. Tarik Zaimović, Rector of the University of Sarajevo.

„This is the first step on a further journey, for which it is important to understand that the world in
which we live is a rapidly changing world – a world characterized by innovation,
globalization, and constant transformation. I am sure that the competencies – skills
and knowledge that students acquired at the University of Sarajevo and which they
possess today are invaluable for navigating the complexities of this constantly changing
environment“, pointed out Dušanka Bošković, B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Minister of Science, Higher Education and Youth of the Sarajevo Canton.

Finally, it was stated that the University of Sarajevo remains a permanent academic home for its alumni, and the promoted graduates are expected to turn knowledge, integrity, and responsibility into daily action for the benefit of society and Bosnia and Herzegovina. <

The musical part of the program featured the Symphony Orchestra of the Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo under the baton of Mr. Fuad Šetić, assistant at the Conducting Department, and the Choir of the Music Academy, conducted by Mr. Emanuel Josić, professional associate at the Music Academy of the University of Sarajevo.
