Fun football school for boys and girls opened in Zenica

This year, a fun football school was opened in Zenica at Kamberovića polje, gathering 200 boys and girls aged five to 12, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.  

This project has been implemented since 1998. As Amir Mahmutović, one of the organizers of the event, told Patria, the children will spend five days on the fields.

- Coaches and physical education teachers will work with them. Of course, besides learning about football, the goal is fun, socializing, and making new acquaintances - says Mahmutović.

The participants come from various sports clubs and organizations, primary schools, and associations from the Zenica area.

The children work on 12 fields doing various exercises, both football-related and general motor skills.

The city of Zenica participates in the organization, as it does every year. The Public Enterprise for Management and Maintenance of Sports Facilities Zenica has provided the fields as well as part of the equipment that remains with associations and clubs after the event ends.
