Register of Household Fireplaces to be Created in Zenica-Doboj Canton

(Patria) - The Ministry of Spatial Planning, Traffic, Communications and Environmental Protection of Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK) has launched a project to create a Register of Household Fireplaces in the ZDK area.

The goal of the project is to collect reliable data on the types of energy sources and the way household fireplaces are used, which will enable the planning of measures to improve air quality and reduce emissions of pollutants into the air.

In the coming period, the consortium CETEOR-E3 and GDI, in cooperation with the "Kemal Kapetanović" Institute, will conduct a survey of household fireplaces in the municipalities and cities of the canton.

The survey will include basic information about the fireplaces, types of fuel, and heating methods, and the collected data will be strictly used for the purpose of creating the register and planning energy efficiency and environmental protection measures.

"All citizens and households of ZDK are invited to cooperate with the surveyors and participate in this project. Your support and accurate information are crucial for improving air quality and the health of the entire ZDK," stated the Ministry of Spatial Planning, Traffic, Communications and Environmental Protection of ZDK.
