(Patria) - In the village of Zaklopača, the 34th anniversary of a bloody crime was marked today, organized by the Majlis of Vlasenica. On May 16, 1992, VRS members from Milići killed 59 residents of Zaklopača, including 15 minors, in a bloody rampage. Tevhid was recited in the mosque.
The youngest victim was four-year-old Naida Hodžić, and the oldest was 62-year-old Fatima Berbić.
The largest number of remains were discovered in a mass grave in 2004. To date, the remains of 54 people have been discovered and exhumed, while the search for other victims is still ongoing.
The Appellate Division of the State Court acquitted Radomir Pantić and four others accused of crimes in Zaklopača.
