In the new Government of Republika Srpska, there will be eight ministers from SNSD, four from SP and three from DNS, while due to the strong ties between Milorad Dodik and Dragan Čović, the leader of HDZ BiH, one ministerial post has been given to this party, writes the Bosnian news agency Patria.
In return, Čović promised Dodik one ministerial post in the Government of the Federation of BiH.
The Socialist Party of Petar Đokić received the ministries of industry, energy and mining, labour and veteran-disabled protection, trade and tourism, and family, youth and sports, while the DNS of Mirko Pavić received the ministries of education and culture, transport and communications, and administration and local self-government.
Of the remaining nine ministries, eight will be SNSD cadres, and one is reserved for Čović's Davor Čordaš, most likely the Ministry for Refugees.
As things stand now, unless Dodik changes his mind overnight, which would not be surprising, the composition of the new RS Government will not include candidates from the „Homeland“ coalition.
