(Patria) - The exhibition "Tears and Prayer" by the great Bosnian painter Safet Zec, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide, was opened at the Sarajevo City Hall.
Through powerful paintings, Zec conveys a message of compassion, remembrance, and warning, not only to Bosnia and Herzegovina but to the entire world.
In the monumental space of the City Hall, Zec presents paintings of sorrow, loss, and hope. The title of the exhibition, "Tears and Prayer," speaks for itself.
Works from the cycles Tears, Prayer, Exodus, and Hugs are presented, thematically connected into a powerful artistic response to injustice and violence.
