(Patria) - The City and Suburban Transport (GiPS) Tuzla has informed users that, starting from January 12, public line transport will be suspended on Sundays.
The decision was made due to a reduced number of passengers, as workers, students, and pupils, who are the most frequent users, do not use transport on a non-working day.
Furthermore, with the entry into force of the Law on Internal Trade, which defined Sunday as a non-working day for shopping centers, the number of passengers in public transport has further decreased.
GiPS Tuzla emphasizes that the goal of this measure is to ensure the financial stability of the company and to continue providing quality services to users. The timetable for other days remains unchanged.
