
(Patria) - In the presence of the Prime Minister of Tuzla Canton, Irfan Halilagić, Minister of Health Dušanka Bećirović, together with the president of the cantonal Professional Union of Doctors of Medicine and Dentistry, signed the Agreement on the Peaceful Resolution of a Collective Labor Dispute, as announced by the Government of Tuzla Canton.
The document is the result of a mediation process conducted before the competent Peace Council and represents a harmonized solution satisfactory to both parties.
The Agreement fulfills the request for correction of expertise coefficients, so that from September 1, 2026, doctors of medicine and dentistry will have a complexity coefficient of 5.20, specialists 6.00, and subspecialists 6.20, with the net hourly wage remaining at 3.20 KM, as previously determined by the Agreement on the Peaceful Resolution of a Collective Labor Dispute.
By concluding the Agreement, the collective labor dispute between the agreeing parties was resolved peacefully through an institutional procedure prescribed by the Law on Peaceful Resolution of Labor Disputes, preserving social dialogue, the stability of the healthcare system, and the uninterrupted provision of healthcare to citizens of Tuzla Canton.
The Agreement also stipulates that the determined coefficients be incorporated into the rulebooks on work of public healthcare institutions in the Canton and that the Agreement become an integral part of the Collective Agreement as Annex I on the rights and obligations of employers and doctors of medicine and dentistry for healthcare activities in that canton.
