(Patria) - The teaching process in all primary and secondary schools in the Una-Sana Canton (USK) will resume tomorrow according to the regular schedule.
Classes were suspended due to heavy snowfall and power outages, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of USK reminds.
The suspension of classes occurred on Friday, March 27, due to worsened weather conditions that caused difficulties in school operations, primarily due to problems with electricity supply and access to school facilities.
Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Denis Osmankić instructed school administrators to timely inform parents, students and teaching staff about the resumption of the teaching process, and to ensure all necessary conditions for the smooth running of classes.
Special emphasis was placed on the obligation to ensure adequate heating of school premises, so that students and teaching staff can stay in safe and appropriate conditions from the beginning of the working week.
The Ministry called on all schools to act in accordance with this notice, noting that they are obliged to urgently inform the competent institutions if there are still obstacles to the normal conduct of classes, such as power outages, new precipitation or possible floods.
