Mosque set on fire in Sweden, extremists celebrate on Facebook

In the Swedish city of Eskilstuna, a mosque was set on fire today while about 20 worshippers were inside, and five of them were injured, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The incident was caused by the extreme right, which advocates for reducing the number of asylum seekers by 90 percent.

The fire was started by an object thrown through a window, and there are still no suspects.

A Facebook page whose name translates to Say No to Mosques in Sweden posted photos of the fire and celebrated this attack. This page has more than 60,000 likes. The rise of Islamophobia worldwide is concerning, especially in European countries where a large number of Bosnian citizens sought refuge during and after the aggression in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

According to Swedish media, there have been 11 attacks on mosques across the country this year.
