(Patria) - On 08/02/2023, around 11:35 PM, a traffic accident occurred at the intersection of the regional road to the settlement of Sovrle, in the area of the municipality of Ilijaš, in which a motorcyclist was fatally injured.
A passenger motor vehicle driven by 20-year-old A.B. collided with a motorcycle driven by 30-year-old S.B.
The motorcyclist sustained severe, life-threatening injuries and was transported by ambulance to the University Clinical Center Sarajevo (KCUS), where he died this morning at 3:37 AM in the Clinic for Anesthesiology and Resuscitation.
The on-site investigation was supervised by the duty prosecutor of the Cantonal Prosecutor's Office of Sarajevo Canton, and was carried out by members of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton, with the presence of traffic and mechanical engineering experts.
The driver of the motor vehicle, A.B., was tested for alcohol, and no alcohol was found in his system.
Police officers of the Police Administration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton continue to work on documenting this traffic accident.
