Cliff Diving Competition on Bentbaša this Saturday

(Patria) - Organized by "SporTur" from Sarajevo, the cliff diving competition will be held for the fifth time at the famous Sarajevo Bentbaša. This sports and tourism event will take place on Saturday, August 3rd, starting at 2 PM.

The most successful divers have announced their participation. In this way, they will join the diving tour in the region again this year with Sarajevo, and thus lovers of this extreme sport in Bosnia and Herzegovina will have the opportunity to watch attractive dives at Bentbaša again.

Compared to previous events, this year brings some novelties that will make this year's event even more attractive for visitors.

"The name 'International Cliff Diving Sarajevo Bentbaša', under which the previous four events were held, has been replaced with 'BENTBAŠA CLIFF DIVING' and includes high-figurative dives according to WHDF (World High Diving Federation) rules, as well as traditional diving rules. We will watch dives in two categories. We are preparing a surprise, which we will announce later and which will surely attract even greater attention from the media, citizens of Sarajevo, BiH, and guests staying in the capital," said organizer Dino Bajrić.

As part of the event, after the competition, from 5 PM to 11 PM at the iconic open-air location, the audience will be entertained by the most popular BiH and regional DJ duo After Affair, who will close this year's event. Admission to the "Closing event" will be possible only with invitations, which are available through the Facebook page: Bentbaša Cliff Diving 2019.

The sponsors of the event are the Municipality of Stari Grad Sarajevo, the Ministry of Culture and Sports of Sarajevo Canton, the City of Sarajevo, Visit Sarajevo, Novi Grad Sarajevo, the Federal Civil Protection Administration, BH Telecom, Staropramen, Olimpija, Sensation, GioGio Gelato, Oxygen doo, Mondoco travel.
