Fascist messages appear in Stolac, investigation launched

(Patria) - Despite legal bans on glorifying and denying genocide and other war crimes, a message with fascist symbols appeared at a location in Stolac.

The graffiti with the inscription “Za dom spremni” was reported to the competent institutions, and upon arriving at the scene, the police found only the second part of the inscription – “Spremni”, while the first part was covered with black spray paint.

This incident has caused concern among citizens, and the local community sees it as yet another in a series of provocative acts that undermine interethnic relations in the city, reports the platform negatorigenocida.info

The inscription “Za dom spremni”, known as the Ustasha salute from the period of the Independent State of Croatia (NDH), is legally banned in Bosnia and Herzegovina because it symbolizes fascist ideology and spreads hate speech.

The police have launched an investigation into this case, and it is expected that those responsible will be prosecuted in accordance with the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
