Minor dies in Sarajevo after tooth extraction at private clinic

(Patria) - A 16-year-old girl died at the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo (KCUS) after being brought in in serious condition due to complications arising from a dental procedure at a private clinic in Sarajevo, confirmed for Faktor from sources familiar with the case.

Namely, after the tooth extraction at the private clinic, her condition suddenly deteriorated and she was urgently transported to KCUS.

According to unofficial information, the girl developed sepsis, which led to a severe clinical picture of her body.

Three surgical procedures were performed at KCUS, but the girl died during the third one.

The Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor's Office said that checks are being carried out, i.e., actions are being taken to verify and determine all circumstances of the death. The Sarajevo Canton Ministry of Interior did not respond to calls.
