Documentary film 'Butterflies Without Wings' about Ismail Zulfić and Ismail Barlov premiered in Sarajevo

(Patria) - The documentary film "Butterflies Without Wings", produced by BHRT, premiered tonight at the Bosnian Cultural Center (BKC) in Sarajevo.

Anel Džanković is the author of this film that follows the inspiring lives of two boys - Ismail Zulfić and Ismail Barlov.

Many prominent figures attended the premiere, including member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željko Komšić.



Both boys are para-swimmers and best friends who break down all barriers through sport.

The film explores themes such as friendship, inclusion, education, daily life, training, and their sports achievements.

Their dedication to sport and life, despite the challenges they face daily, is particularly inspiring.

Ismail Zulfić, known as the "butterfly without wings", has inspired many with his swimming successes, and he also engages in skiing, snowboarding, and cycling.

Ismail Barlov, also a successful swimmer, won a silver medal at the Paralympic Games.



Their story highlights the importance of inclusion, but also speaks to how sport can be a means of creating social change.

The film was produced by BHRT, and author Džanković also co-directed with Damir Kerlo.

The film's producer is Medina Šehić, executive producer Andrej Bilbija, director of photography Vanja Ban, and editor Jasmin Okerić. The music composer is Dino Šukalo.
