Sarajevo hosts panel discussion 'Who pays for the election campaign?'

(Patria) - Transparency International (TI) in BiH will organize a panel discussion in Sarajevo today on the topic "Who pays for the election campaign?".

The event will present the final report of TI BiH on the monitoring of the 2024 Local Elections, with a focus on tracking election campaign costs and abuse of public resources.

Numerous examples of violations of the Election Law recorded during the past elections, as well as their legal epilogues, will also be presented.

The panel discussion will address the consequences that this situation has on fair and honest elections, and representatives of political parties, the Central Election Commission, and TI BiH will speak on the matter.

The panel discussion will be held at the premises of Europe House in Sarajevo, starting at 11:00 AM.
