15th International Conference RIM Opened in Sarajevo

(Patria) - Prime Minister of Una-Sana Canton Nijaz Hušić opened today in Sarajevo the 15th international conference "Development and Modernization of Production" (RIM), stressing that it is the most significant event of the University of Bihać and an important occasion for education, science and technology.

"This is an excellent opportunity for young researchers and representatives of the academic community to meet and exchange experiences," Hušić stated.

The conference, organized by the Faculty of Technical Engineering of the University of Bihać, features a two-day program with more than 300 authors and presenters, who will present over 180 papers in the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, civil engineering, textile and wood industries, legal and economic regulation, environmental protection and sustainable development.

The gathering was also attended by the Prime Minister of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Nermin Nikšić, who was presented with a charter of gratitude. He emphasized that investment in education is "one of the most significant investments," and that strengthening the academic community contributes to the international reputation of BiH.

The Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, Dr. Fatka Kulenović, stressed that the conference increases the visibility of the University of Bihać and provides an opportunity for young researchers and professors to present their work, connecting them with scientists and businesspeople from the country and abroad.
