
The Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and Coordination of the Fight against Corruption (APIK), in cooperation with Transparency International Bosnia and Herzegovina (TI BiH), and with the support of the Government of the United Kingdom, is organizing a conference on December 9 in Sarajevo on the occasion of International Anti-Corruption Day, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.
The conference aims to present and analyze key activities being implemented in the field of corruption prevention and fight against corruption in Bosnia and Herzegovina, primarily in the context of meeting international standards in this area. It will also address the obligations and challenges in the process of building an effective anti-corruption system in BiH.
The conference will bring together officials from relevant institutions at all levels of government in BiH, as well as representatives of the diplomatic corps in the country, representatives of international and regional organizations and initiatives operating in BiH, and representatives of countries in the region, the European Union, and participants from civil society organizations working in the field of corruption prevention in BiH, it was announced, as reported by Patria.
