(Patria) - An informal group of young people has announced the tenth protest for today in Sarajevo due to the tragic tram accident that occurred on February 12 near the School of Mechanical Engineering.
To recall, at that time, a tram derailed and killed student Erdoan Morankić, while four people were injured, the most seriously being girl Ella Jovanović.
This group has called on citizens to join them in the protests, which will be held today starting at 12:00 PM in front of the National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
"The call is extended to all citizens - students, high school students, workers, pensioners... to come out in as large a number as possible and support the fight for a better tomorrow.
Come, be a part of the change, and let's show together that the citizens' voice must be heard," said the organizers.
Earlier, they presented several demands, including establishing the responsibility of the authorities, ensuring safe public transport, and conducting an independent investigation into the tram accident while informing the public about its results.
