Sarajevo to host "Bosnia is Ours - Bosnian" convention on July 4th in response to the collapse and threats to BiH's integrity

(Patria) - President of Krug 99 Adil Kulenović announced the convention “Bosnia is Ours - Bosnian” for July 4th as a response to the activities undertaken by Serbia and the RS entity, following the joint declaration of the All-Serb Assembly. The convention will be held on July 4th in the congress hall of the Holiday Hotel, starting at 7 PM.

The anti-Bosnian doctrines and ideologies of the “Declaration of the All-Serb Assembly” is also the topic of today's round table, jointly organized by Krug 99 and NGO Čuvari Bosne, where the convention was announced. The Association Čuvari Bosne is also participating in its organization.

Kulenović stated that the initiative by Krug 99, emphasizing the necessity to express resistance to the further collapse of the state of BiH and to counter threats to its integrity in a transparent and patriotic manner, has been accepted by non-governmental organizations, representatives of the academic community, and pro-state political parties.

“The convention of non-governmental organizations, the academic community, political parties, and citizens should express the achieved pro-state, popular political unity on fundamental issues of the sovereignty of the Bosnian state in the given historical circumstances, especially in the context of the declaration of the All-Serb Assembly and other doctrines, divisions, and hegemony over Bosnia and Herzegovina. At the convention, rational responses to the challenges and dangers facing both the state and society will be defined, as well as the directions for unified responses and actions by pro-state actors and citizens,” said Kulenović.

Professor Jahja Muhasilović, representing NGO Čuvari Bosne, stated that Greater Serbian politics grossly denies the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

“We are in a situation where we have a political leadership that unfortunately does not understand the dangers coming from Belgrade. We have a leadership that, when a Serbian helicopter lands in BiH, says it is not their jurisdiction. We are in a very difficult situation. As Čuvari Bosne and Krug 99, we recognized that it is high time to respond to such aggressive policy and to mobilize the broader political, academic, economic elite, and the general public to respond to Serbian irredentism. It is high time we get serious and respond to those who are trying to undermine the sovereignty and territorial integrity of BiH,” he emphasized.

The convention “Bosnia is Ours - Bosnian” will be marked by determination, clear visions, and political commitments to both domestic and international audiences, as well as to internal and foreign policy actors.

He announced that following the Sarajevo convention, gatherings will be held in other cities and municipalities in BiH.

The convention is expected to be attended by citizens from all societal structures to ensure the platform of patriotic response is authentic.
