Premiere of documentary 'Wings Without Butterflies' tonight at Sarajevo's BKC

(Patria) - The premiere of Anel Džanković's documentary film "Wings Without Butterflies" will be held tonight at 8 PM at the Bosnian Cultural Center (BKC) in Sarajevo, on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities.

At yesterday's press conference, held at the RTV building in Sarajevo, the film's author Anel Džanković, producer Medina Šehić, and BHRT General Director Belmin Karamehmedović addressed the media.

"Wings Without Butterflies" is a documentary film story about two boys, friends and excellent swimmers Ismail Zulfić and Ismail Barlov, born in 2010, who despite physical deformities manage not only to engage in sports but also achieve top results.

Thanks to the support of their parents, dedicated work with coach Amel Kapo at the SPID swimming club from Sarajevo, and above all incredible willpower, these boys got the opportunity to compete on the big stage.

Appearances for Bosnia and Herzegovina at international meets, European and World Championships, and the Paralympic Games are the pinnacle of their sports and life victory.

At the same time, this is a story about love for sport that breaks all barriers, about friendship that is more than that, about dedication, perseverance, and dreams that become reality if we have the courage to pursue them.

In the one-hour film, author Džanković brings the life story of both swimmers. Besides Zulfić and Barlov, the film features, among others, their parents and coach Amel Kapo, without whose boundless energy this story would not have been possible.

The film was produced by BHRT, author Džanković also co-directs with Damir Kerla, producer is Medina Šehić, executive producer Andrej Bilbija, director of photography Vanja Ban, and editor Jasmin Okerić. The music author is Dino Šukalo.
