BANJA LUKA, (Patria) – Alen Šeranić, RS Minister of Health, stated that in the last 24 hours, the Institute of Public Health and UKC RS tested 336 samples, of which 28 were confirmed. There are a total of 453 coronavirus cases in RS.
„The Institute of Public Health of RS confirmed 17 cases for the entire RS, and UKC RS processes samples for Banja Luka and patients admitted there. For most individuals, it was determined that they had close contact or a travel history“, said Šeranić.
The Minister stated that there are dialysis patients who have tested positive for coronavirus and that treatment will be approached in accordance with their condition.
„Regarding treatment at UKC RS, there are 46 people in the Covid ward, 7 in isolation, 5 on ventilators, 2 on oxygen masks, and 49 people in pulmonology with mild to moderate clinical presentation. The number of recovered individuals is 179“, said Šeranić.
He emphasized that 6,099 people are under health supervision, and 17,193 have exited health supervision.
Regarding the condition of healthcare workers infected with coronavirus, 14 from public health institutions and two from private ones have confirmed illness.
