The RS is implementing the SANU program, let's help Bosniak children not to be discriminated against

Ramiz Salkić, the Vice-President of the BiH entity RS, on the occasion of September 1st and the start of classes in all schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina, warned the domestic and international public about the growing discrimination that the system is implementing against the non-Serb population in the BiH entity RS, reports the Patria News Agency.

"The joy of starting school will again this year be replaced by a feeling of endangerment that Bosniak children, their parents, and teachers have had for years in the BiH entity RS. The RS entity is the only place in Europe where we have classic apartheid today."

During the school holidays, we tried to solve the problems faced by children and their parents, but we did not have partners for discussion. The RS authorities have taken a stance, based on the stance of the Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts SANU, to continue to openly deny the Bosnian language, and thus Bosniaks as a people, and Bosnia and Herzegovina as a state. Therefore, we are forced to organize instructional classes for students again this year.

I call on the authorities of the Federation of BiH and the cantons that border the BiH entity RS to provide support and help implement classes for Bosniak children. I also call on domestic and international organizations dealing with human rights and education to get involved and help the children, their parents, and teachers.

We already have a big problem and we cannot ignore it and postpone its solution. Because, tomorrow it will be too late when the concept of new ethnic cleansing, which is currently being implemented, yields results, Salkić states in the statement.
