
(Patria) - A new veteran clinic was opened today in Rosulje, in the Vogošća area, increasing the number of these specialized clinics in KS to eight.
Each veteran clinic is organized through two medical teams working at full capacity in two shifts, further improving the accessibility of healthcare for veterans.
The opening of the clinic was attended today by the Minister of Health of Sarajevo Canton Enis Hasanović, the Minister for Veterans' Affairs Omer Osmanović, the Director of the Public Institution Health Center Sarajevo Elvedin Tatarević, and the Head of the Vogošća Organizational Unit Almir Pašagić.
The opening of the new clinic is part of continuous activities aimed at improving healthcare for the veteran population and enhancing the accessibility of health services for this sensitive category of citizens.
In the coming period, a program of preventive dental services for all veterans will also be launched, which will be implemented within the network of veteran clinics, with the aim of further improving preventive healthcare for the veteran population.
The opening of the veteran clinic in Rosulje confirms the commitment of the institutions of Sarajevo Canton to continuously improve care for veterans and their health through concrete projects and cooperation between the health and veteran sectors.
