SARAJEVO, (Patria) - According to data from the Public Health Institute of Sarajevo Canton, 118 laboratory tests for coronavirus were performed in Sarajevo Canton in the past 24 hours. There were no new confirmed cases of infection with this virus, while three people were retested.
The total number of people infected with the COVID-19 infectious disease in Sarajevo Canton is 105.
"Currently, eight patients are hospitalized. Three people are receiving hospital treatment at the General Hospital, and five are in the isolation ward of the Clinical Center of the University of Sarajevo. There are no patients on ventilators. Yesterday, four people recovered, bringing the total number of recovered people in the Canton to 49. There were no fatalities yesterday," according to the Institute's bulletin.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Sarajevo Canton recorded three cases of violation of self-isolation measures in the past 24 hours, and two people are in forced isolation.
Yesterday, 174 people registered with the Sarajevo Canton Employment Service, bringing the total number of newly registered people since the declaration of the state of emergency on March 18, 2020, to 5,000 people.
