Body of missing Aldina Porić found in Orljava

The body of missing Aldina Porić has been found in Orljava - confirmed to 034portal by Ivana Radić, spokesperson of the Požega-Slavonia Police Department, reports the Bosnian news agency Patria.

The body was found near the settlement of Dervišaga, about six kilometres from the bridge where the girl fell into the river.
The 20-year-old couple was walking by the river in Cernička Street in Požega last Wednesday evening and, for still undetermined reasons, both fell into the Orljava, reports Index.hr.

Yesterday, firefighters from Požega raised the rubber dam for the third time since Aldina's disappearance so that divers could search the fall site, and the dam in Industrijska Street was also searched.

- I doubt she even fell into the water - said Jasmina Porić, sister of the girl who went missing last Wednesday evening.

Her family has no contact with Antonio Pavlović, who fell into the river with Aldina but managed to save himself.

- He didn't contact us, nor did we call him. Who knows what all happened here. All sorts of things are being said, and we no longer know what to believe. We are in contact with the police, but they don't have any new information either - a family friend told the media. He added that Aldina's mother is coping with the situation the hardest.

The sister is convinced that Aldina did not jump into the water on her own because she was full of plans.

- All sorts of things are being said now, and everyone has their own version in their head. She had so many plans in life. She was supposed to come work with me in Poreč in a few months, her job was arranged. She had also been through an illness, her hair had fallen out, which troubled her, and now she would do that because of a boyfriend? No chance. That day she also ordered a dress in a store, arranged coffee with friends - said Jasmina.

The Požega-Slavonia Police Department is conducting a detailed investigation.
