
(Patria) - Mostar is observing a Day of Mourning today following the tragic deaths of three people in a traffic accident that occurred last weekend.
The Day of Mourning will be marked by lowering flags to half-mast at the buildings of the City Administration and City Council, and public institutions and companies founded by the City of Mostar.
No public, cultural, or entertainment programs will be held in public places on the Day of Mourning, and physical and legal entities engaged in hospitality business are obliged to conduct their operations in accordance with the Day of Mourning.
Electronic media operating within the City of Mostar are also obliged to adapt their programming content to the Day of Mourning.
Mayor of Mostar, Mario Kordić, extended his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased Dalila Žugor, Enis Kurtović, and Almin Crnalić.
"The City of Mostar will do everything to ease the burden on the families during these moments of pain, and we will certainly encourage broader discussions to prevent such accidents in every possible way," Kordić stated on his Facebook profile.
