After living in Tuzla for years, she moved to Örebro with hopes and dreams of a better future. There she found a new home and got a job, leaving an indelible mark with her commitment and dedication.

On the day fate cruelly ended her life, she was where she always believed she belonged - learning, growing, building herself and her future.

Armed attacker Rickard Andersson (35) entered the Education Institute and opened fire, leaving behind grief, pain, and an unspeakable void. In addition to Selma, nine other people were killed, and several were injured.

Her friends remember her as a tireless humanitarian, a woman who gave of herself selflessly. In Tuzla, she worked at the association "Vesta", where her work and dedication inspired many. Her warmth and dedication left a mark on the community and among those she collaborated with.
