Wet roads in Krajina, snow expected, strong wind gusts in places

(Patria) - Roads are wet in parts of western and northern Bosnia, especially in Krajina. In the far northwest of Bosnia, sleet transitioning to snow is expected.

The wind is moderate to strong, with occasional gale-force gusts, causing problems on open sections.

In Herzegovina, the roads are mostly dry or wet, and we warn of the possibility of landslides and falling rocks.

Drivers are advised to drive slower, adjust their speed, and obey traffic regulations for the safety of all road users.

Numerous sections are undergoing repair work, and traffic is regulated by temporary traffic signals.

The movement of all vehicles across the bridge on the Dobro Polje-Miljevina main road is prohibited. Vehicles with a total mass of up to 3.5 tons can use the roads via Grepak or Kalinovik (there is 19 km of unpaved road), while trucks must use the route via Rogatica and Ustipraca.

Construction of a noise barrier is underway on the A-1 Sarajevo sjever-Podlugovi highway section, due to which traffic is diverted to the overtaking lane.

Due to soil monitoring work on the A-1 Sarajevo zapad-Lepenica highway section, in the area of the Lepenica interchange and the Igman tunnel, traffic is two-way, using the right lane.

Due to repair work on the Tomislavgrad-Prisoje main road, traffic is one-way with traffic lights operating 24/7.

Traffic for vehicles up to 3.5 tons is allowed on the Jablanica-Blidinje main road, while traffic for vehicles over 3.5 tons is still suspended.

Traffic for all vehicles is suspended on the Šamac-Grebnica main road due to railway crossing repairs. Alternative routes are in use.

Passenger vehicle traffic is increasing at border crossings, but delays are currently up to 30 minutes.

Due to passenger registration under the new EU Entry/Exit System (EES), longer delays may occur at border crossings.

The Brčko border crossing is open for passenger vehicles up to 3.5 tons. As of December 2, 2025, the Karakaj border crossing is open for all vehicle categories. Traffic for all trucks is prohibited at the Šepak border crossing.
