(Patria) - A large fire broke out at the Globus Konfekcija facility in Kiseljak last night.
Nermin Bukvić, who lives in the immediate vicinity of the factory, told the portal Mahalla.ba that three explosions were heard before the fire, the first of which was the loudest and strongest.
The fire completely destroyed the company's facility.
Due to the detonation, according to Bukvić, windows and glass flew up to 50-100 meters away, causing panic among the residents of this part of Kiseljak.
The explosions occurred around 6:20 PM, after which Bukvić immediately called the police.
The Mayor of Kiseljak Municipality then arrived at the scene, who, according to available information, engaged additional fire units from Fojnica, Busovača, and Kreševo to prevent the further spread of the fire.
Firefighting crews are still on the ground, while the police are securing the area around the facility.
According to information so far, there are no injured persons. The cause of the explosions and fire has not yet been officially confirmed.
