(Patria) - Three people were killed in a serious traffic accident that occurred this morning on the Žitomislići–Počitelj road, Bljesak was confirmed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton.
Spokesperson of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ilijana Miloš, stated that the deceased were A. C. (22), D. Ž. (20), and E. K. (22), and that the driver of the "Audi", M. Š. (28), was arrested on suspicion of causing the accident. He is charged with causing a fatal traffic accident. The bodies of the deceased were transported for autopsy to the Bijeli Brijeg morgue.
The accident occurred in the village of Ševaš Njive, and three cars were involved. In addition to the three fatalities, two people were injured, and one was detained on suspicion of causing the accident.
The driver of the Audi A4, M. Š. (28), who is suspected of causing the accident on the M-17 main road near Ševaš Njiva, has been arrested and is undergoing criminal processing.
The investigation is complete, and traffic on this section has been normalized. As published on the Facebook page of GP Maljevac, among the deceased are two members of the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Enis Kurtović and Almin Crnalić, and a young woman, Dalila Žugor.
