Hundreds of anti-fascists gathered in Jablanica, marking the 81st anniversary of the Battle for the Wounded

(Patria) - Organized by SABNOR of BiH, OO UABNOR of Jablanica, the "Josip Broz Tito" Society, the Museum "Battle for the Wounded on the Neretva" from Jablanica, and the Municipality of Jablanica, the 81st anniversary of the most humane battle in the history of warfare - the Battle for the Wounded on the Neretva - was marked today.

"Today, when fascism is taking on new forms, today when the significance of the anti-fascist struggle is being diminished, today when history is being revised, today when very little is said in schools about the glorious struggle of our peoples and nationalities, today when monuments of the revolution are being systematically destroyed, we anti-fascists, who are the last line of defense against oblivion, have not given up on the idea of anti-fascism, on the idea of Tito's partisans, even after 81 years," it was stated from UABNOR Mostar.

Hundreds of anti-fascists gathered at the "Battle for the Wounded on the Neretva" Museum, and numerous delegations from all levels of government laid flowers.

After the official part of the program, many anti-fascists who gathered today stayed for a social gathering.
