New cases of infection in HNK, nine patients on ventilators

(Patria) - Dr. Siniša Skočibušić from the Covid hospital in Mostar said that in the past 24 hours, 118 samples were taken in the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton, and that there were 9 positive cases of the coronavirus.

"Of the 118 samples, nine were positive, eight from Čitluk and one from Mostar. Nine patients are on ventilators," he said in a public address.

He also highlighted good news from the Covid hospital, saying that a female patient, born in 1965, who was admitted on March 30 and after several days on a ventilator, is now doing well and is currently on mild oxygen support.

"We hope for her speedy recovery. This provides comfort, that is, that all the effort we are putting in will bear fruit and that there will be much more benefit and that we will defeat this disease," said Dr. Skočibušić.
