124 infected persons in FBiH, over 35,000 under health supervision

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – Davor Pehar, Director of the Public Health Institute of FBiH, stated that 855 people have been tested in FBiH, of whom 124 are positive for coronavirus.

In HNK, 44 are infected, ZHK 18, TK 18, KS 17, ZDK 10, USK 8, BPK 6, PK 1, SBK 1 patient. There are no registered cases in Canton 10 yet.

There have been five deaths so far.

"Imported cases are from Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Turkey, Serbia, USA, Turkey, Austria. Local transmission is in HNK, ZHK, USK, BPK," said Pehar. 

He stated that over 35,000 people have been placed under health supervision and we expect this number to grow.

"These days, those for whom health supervision orders have been issued will be released from this measure," said Pehar. 

Director Pehar said that mass testing is starting, and tests will arrive successively.

When asked how he commented on the defense of a doctoral dissertation in Tuzla, which gathered a larger number of doctors, Pehar said that he would not delve into individual cases and that the measures for everyone are the same.

"If doctors gathered, I condemn it in the strongest terms," says Pehar.
