Meteoalarm activated in parts of BiH: Stormy weather expected

(Patria) - The "BH Meteo" page has issued a warning stating that many parts of BiH will be affected by stormy weather, accompanied by thunderstorms.

The announcement stated that in most parts of Krajina, it has been raining since this morning, and that atmospheric destabilization is expected in the rest of the country in the coming hours.

- With stronger development of convective clouds, stormy weather with heavy rainfall in a short period, hail, and strong winds are locally expected, with the greatest chance for this occurring later today in parts of southwestern, central, northeastern, and eastern Bosnia.

Towards the end of the day and in the evening, a wave of local showers with thunderstorms will affect most of Herzegovina and upper Podrinje, those areas that have generally lacked rain in previous days. The extreme south of Herzegovina might possibly avoid significant rainfall.

On the night leading into Friday (14.06.), there will be a gradual weakening and cessation of precipitation, leading to clearing and stabilization of the weather during the day tomorrow - according to the page.
The Federal Hydrometeorological Institute's page has activated the yellow meteoalarm for most parts of BiH.

This applies to the regions of Livno, Mostar, Sarajevo, Tuzla, Banja Luka, Foča, Prijedor, Trebinje, and Višegrad.
