Bomb threats in about ten primary schools in Sarajevo Canton

(Patria) - Employees and students in about ten primary schools in Sarajevo Canton were evacuated after receiving reports this morning about explosive devices placed in school premises, confirmed for Patria Mersiha Novalić, spokesperson for the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton.

The schools received emails this morning with identical content about planted bombs, and counter-sabotage inspections are underway.

These are schools in the areas of Ilidža, Vogošća, Novi Grad Municipality, and Hadžići.

"Police officers of the Ministry of Interior of Sarajevo Canton are taking actions to ensure the safety of children and school employees, and a counter-sabotage inspection of the premises is also in progress," Novalić stated.

We recall that several months ago there was also a wave of bomb threats in Sarajevo schools, all of which were false.
