Brčko District declares Day of Mourning

Serious traffic accident in Brčko - three people died in a collision of four vehicles

(Patria) - A serious traffic accident occurred on the Malaysian Road section in Brčko this morning around 6:30 AM, in which three people were fatally injured - confirmed the spokesperson for the Brčko District Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dževida Hukičević. In the accident

The Day of Mourning is marked by the mandatory flying of the BiH flag at half-mast, i.e., on poles on all government buildings and institutions of Brčko District. Furthermore, public, cultural, entertainment, and sports events cannot be held on the Day of Mourning.

Music is prohibited in catering establishments, except for those where celebrations have been previously scheduled, provided they take place indoors and car and other sirens cannot be used in convoys for weddings or other occasions.

Also, all media houses in the Brčko District will adjust their programming to the mayor's decision on the Day of Mourning, the Government of Brčko District announced.
