Pedestrian dies in Bihać

A serious traffic accident occurred around 10:45 AM in Hasan-paše Predojevića street in Bihać, when driver J.D. (35) driving a Golf III, BiH license plates, hit an 80-year-old woman crossing the street, local portals report, Patria conveys.

– As determined after the investigation, the driver hit the pedestrian with the vehicle due to excessive speed. The woman died at the Cantonal Hospital in Bihać at 1:30 PM from the severe injuries she sustained – said Ale Šiljdedić, spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs of USC.

After the investigation is completed, additional expert examinations will be conducted, and the Criminal Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of USC will submit a report on the criminal offense of public traffic safety.
