(Patria) - According to data from the Agency for Identification Documents, Records and Data Exchange of Bosnia and Herzegovina (IDDEEA), a total of 268,710 ID cards with expired validity have been registered in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Of this number, 95,292 ID cards have expired in Republika Srpska, 163,307 in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, while 10,111 invalid identification documents have been registered in Brčko District of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The data indicate a significant number of citizens who have not renewed their identification documents on time, which may cause difficulties in exercising legal rights, using administrative services, banking procedures, and other daily activities for which a valid ID card is required.
IDDEEA reminds citizens to regularly check the expiry dates of their documents and to apply for a new ID card in a timely manner to avoid any potential inconvenience.
Detailed data on the number of ID cards with expired validity, classified by months and regions, are publicly available through the IDDEEA ODP portal.
