406,685 People Unemployed in BiH

SARAJEVO, (Patria) – According to official records from the Unified System for Registration, Control, and Collection of Contributions, the number of employed people in the Federation of BiH by employee residence at the end of June was 534,631.

This number does not include individuals who earn income based on service contracts, temporary and occasional jobs, and copyright agreements. 

According to data from the Agency for Statistics of BiH, in April 2019, which is the last published data, the number of employed persons in BiH was 827,121. The number of employed in RS is around 275,000, and in Brčko District around 20,000 people. 

The number of unemployed in BiH at the end of May is 406,685 people, of which 308,607 are in FBiH, 90,280 in RS, and 7,798 in Brčko District.
