Banja Luka hosts promotion of the book 'Ferhadija - Queen of Bosnian Mosques'

(Patria) - Today in Banja Luka, a promotion of the book "Ferhadija - Queen of Bosnian Mosques" by author Edhem-ef. Čamdžić, Banja Luka Mufti from 1999 to 2014, will be held.

The promotion, as part of the program marking Mosque Day in the area of the Islamic Community Council of Banja Luka, will be held on the plateau in front of the Ferhat Pasha Mosque (Ferhadija) starting at 1:30 PM.



The book offers a rich depiction of the historical, spiritual, and architectural significance of Ferhadija, one of the most important mosques in Bosnia and Herzegovina and a symbol of resilience, renewal, and identity for Muslims in Banja Luka and beyond.

In addition to the author, the promotion will feature speeches by Dr. Ermin-ef. Vučkić, Chief Imam of the Islamic Community Council of Ključ, Nedim Hrbat, Executive Director of the Media Center program, while the program moderator will be Mr. Admir-ef. Blitović.

The promotion will also be addressed by the Banja Luka Mufti Ismail-ef. Smajlović, adding an additional spiritual and symbolic dimension to the event.
