
SARAJEVO, (Patria) - Numerous political and religious officials, delegations, mothers of Srebrenica, surviving victims, family members, and many citizens in front of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina building paid tribute to the 33 victims of the Srebrenica genocide who will be buried on July 11 at the Potočari Memorial Centre.
The final farewell to the trucks carrying 33 coffins was attended by members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović, Željko Komšić, the Grand Mufti of the Islamic Community in Bosnia and Herzegovina Husein ef. Kavazović, President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan with his wife, US Ambassador Eric Nelson, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu, SDA President Bakir Izetbegović, SBB President Fahrudin Radončić, Mayor of Sarajevo Abdulah Skaka, High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina Valentin Inzko, representatives of the Sarajevo Canton Government, and other government representatives.
A large number of citizens gathered to pay tribute to the victims of the Srebrenica genocide. With a Fatiha, a minute of silence, a flower, or in another way, citizens are bidding farewell to the victims who will find their final rest on July 11, the 24th anniversary of the Srebrenica genocide.
