Tuzla students won 15 medals at the Twelfth International Science Project Olympiad BOSEPO

(Patria) - At the XII International BiH Science Project Olympiad BOSEPO 2021, held on February 19 and 20 in Sarajevo, organized by Richmond Park Education, students of Richmond Park International Primary and Secondary School Tuzla achieved exceptional results, winning a total of 4 gold, 5 silver, and 6 bronze medals.

Students presented their projects in several categories: energy, engineering and IT, environmental protection, and short film. Projects from all the mentioned categories were prepared under the mentorship of professors and teachers from our schools.

The judging panel, composed of respected university professors and industry experts, had a challenging task. They had to select the best projects from 136 projects that passed a very demanding selection process and reached the finals of this olympiad. 

In addition to primary and secondary school students from Bosnia and Herzegovina from Sarajevo, Bihać, Zenica, Tuzla, and Velika Kladuša, students from Indonesia, Azerbaijan, Tunisia, Mexico, and other countries competed for medals with their projects.

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION: 
- Azra Ibrahimagić and Adna Ibrahimović, gold medal;

SHORT FILM: 
- Tarik Maljanović and Dženita Mujkanović, gold medal;
- Ajla Ramić and Fatima Huskanović (student of Behram Bey's Madrasa) - gold medal;

By winning medals at the BOSEPO Science Olympiad, students have earned the right to participate in other international competitions that will be held during 2021 around the world, such as: Genius Olympiad and I-Sweep competitions in the USA, Infomatrix in Romania, Inespo in the Netherlands, etc.

The Bosnian-Herzegovinian Science Project Olympiad BOSEPO is an olympiad in which all students aged 10 to 19, attending primary and secondary schools in Bosnia and Herzegovina, as well as in countries around the world, can participate. The goal of this competition is to promote the importance and value of science and technology, through which students acquire an enviable level of knowledge in preparing scientific papers, and at the same time encourages talented young people to engage in science. This year's 12th BOSEPO Olympiad was held in specific circumstances, respecting all epidemiological protection measures and recommendations from the competent authorities, taking care of the health of all participants.
